Buenos Aires 101: How to live like a local!

Just fresh off the boat from Durham, North Carolina, six Duke graduate students got the scoop on restaurants, hot clubs, shopping, culture, history and tips on how to live like a true porteno (Buenos Aires local). With two months here, living like a BA Local was of the most importance. Whether it was eating a choripan from a street vendor in San Telmo or sipping on mate in Plaza de Mayo, the Duke Blue Devils captured what is to be a local in Buenos Aires.

“My husband and I have traveled to many different places and have taken many tours, but Christina’s tour of Buenos Aires was by far the best tour we’ve ever been on. She truly knows the ins and outs of the city and will make your stay in Buenos Aires a fun and enriching experience. If you want to see Buenos Aires the right way, take a tour with Christina – it will be one of the highlights of your trip. Mike and Carrie Thompson.”
